Bank of America Banking and Financial Services 213207 $113.0B United States Genesys Genesys Workforce Management Workforce Management 2017 n/a In 2017, Bank of America implemented Genesys Workforce Management, a Workforce Management application, to manage contact center agent scheduling and time-off administration. The deployment targeted agent-facing scheduling processes, enabling staff to enter UTOs, vacation time and PTO and to adjust agents schedules as part of day to day operations. The project replaced UKG Workforce Central formerly Kronos Workforce Central as the primary scheduling tool for those agent groups. Genesys Workforce Management was configured to emphasize time-off management and schedule management capabilities, with explicit support for UTO capture, vacation and PTO recording, and schedule adjustment workflows. Configuration work focused on roster updates, shift assignments and schedule change controls consistent with Workforce Management functional patterns. Operational coverage concentrated on workforce planning teams, contact center scheduling groups and frontline agents who submit time-off requests and perform schedule adjustments. Use cases centered on maintaining schedule accuracy and operational coverage for agent workgroups rather than broad HR timekeeping functions. Governance instituted formal processes for time-off entry and approval routing, plus schedule change authorization and operational training for planners and supervisors. Rollout activities emphasized procedural alignment between scheduling teams and frontline supervisors to standardize UTO, vacation and PTO handling within the Workforce Management application.
