Alfahim | Professional Services | 3000 | $1.0B | United Arab Emirates | Oracle | Oracle Payroll | Payroll | 2012 | n/a |
In 2012 Alfahim implemented Oracle Payroll to centralize payroll processing for the Alfahim Group in the United Arab Emirates, aligning Payroll with the companys HR and finance operations. The Oracle Payroll implementation was delivered as part of the broader Oracle E-Business Suite footprint already supporting Oracle HRMS and Financials, and it was positioned to handle payroll runs, statutory calculations, pay element configuration, and payroll reporting workloads.
Configuration work focused on standard Oracle Payroll functional modules and on extensions required to support group level incentive processing. Oracle Payroll was configured to manage earnings and deductions, tax and statutory calculations, payroll period scheduling, and payroll accounting interfaces. The implementation also included configuration points for benefit and incentive integrations where the organization used a Complete customized Incentives Management module within the Alfahim environment.
Oracle Payroll was integrated with the existing Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS and Financials, and it exchanged transactional data with multiple operational systems including SunGard Treasury module, Smart Vision time and attendance, Success Factors performance management, Talent Link recruitment, and E-Travel ticketing. These integrations supported time and attendance feeds, incentive adjustments, recruitment to payroll data handoffs, and general ledger posting of payroll expenses, establishing end to end payroll data flows across HR and finance systems.
Governance and operational ownership were established through the Alfahim Group business applications team, with a Senior Specialist responsible for development, implementation and integration projects, ongoing application operations, day to day support for business users, and training. Process and workflow responsibilities were divided between HR payroll operations and finance for accounting and reporting, with the business applications function handling release coordination, interfaces, and user enablement for Oracle Payroll.

Alorica | Professional Services | 115000 | $15.0B | United States | Oracle | Oracle Payroll | Payroll | 2016 | n/a |
Alorica implemented Oracle Payroll in 2016. The engagement was executed between December 2016 and February 2017 from Plantation, Florida, focused on deploying Oracle HR and Oracle Payroll across localizations in the USA, Philippines, and Jamaica for a large BPO environment and for a newly acquired business unit.
The implementation concentrated on payroll costing and element configuration within Oracle Payroll, using Oracle E-Business Suite payroll capabilities as the transactional engine. A reclassification program redefined payroll element costing from an account by organization model to an employee group based aggregation model, materially simplifying element link maintenance and standardizing costing rules across employee populations.
Integrations included connecting other HR and payroll-related systems into the Oracle payroll environment as part of the roll out, preserving payroll processing continuity during the transition. Operational coverage spanned HR and Finance functions responsible for payroll processing, accounting and cost allocation across the specified country localizations.
Governance changes instituted as part of the project included a centralized element link governance model and aggregation controls to reduce administrative overhead. The project reduced element links from 4,500 to 700 and successfully migrated all employees to the new payroll costing system with 100 percent reconciliation on paycheck values and costing amounts, while the Sr. Oracle Implementation Analyst acted as the subject matter expert for rollout and cross-system integration.
