Integration work tied Sage HRMS to operational timekeeping and tax systems, the team exported time and attendance records from Insperity, staged and organized data in Excel tables, and imported payroll batches into Sage HRMS. Financial close and general ledger posting were coordinated with Sage 300 for month and quarter end activities, while ADP Smart Compliance was used for employment tax filing and remittance. Employee Self Service and Insperity required ongoing IT support and HRIS on-boarding resolution during the rollout.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical configuration, including new departmental payroll processes, procedures for calculating payroll cash and positive pay requirements, entry and reconciliation of journal entries, and documented workflows for researching and resolving payroll and HR queries. Regular weekly and ad-hoc payroll and HR reports were produced for the CEO and directors to support operational oversight.
