The deployment included configuration and certification across multiple Epic modules, specifically Prelude for registration, Cadence for scheduling, Grand Central for ADT, Referrals, Welcome, Data Courier, Bridges, Electronic Eligibility, Cache system administration, Security, EVS, and e-Signature functionality. The implementation used Resolute Professional Billing with a Single Billing Office, SBO, configuration to consolidate professional billing workflows and support centralized charge capture and claim preparation.
Integrations referenced in the implementation included Data Courier and Bridges for interfacing, Electronic Eligibility checks, and MyChart billing enrollment and messaging, with Community Connect tools used when deploying Epic applications into new clinic and hospital settings. The team supported build migration and upgrade environment strategies to move functionality to current Epic standards and to deploy new functionality as clinics and hospitals were onboarded.
Governance and operationalization were managed through cross-functional IT and business collaboration, with IT leads participating in go-life planning and SBO implementation for seven service areas in 2017.
