BMO Wealth Management | Banking and Financial Services | 500 | $5.2B | United States | Oracle | Oracle BI Publisher | Analytics and BI | 2017 | n/a |
In 2017, BMO Wealth Management implemented Oracle BI Publisher as part of its Analytics and BI stack to standardize enterprise reporting across wealth and banking business lines. The deployment was delivered within an OBIEE 12c analytics program supporting General Ledger analysis, fixed assets analysis, intercompany reporting, accounts receivable analysis and accounts payable reporting for the wealth management operating group.
The implementation included development of custom reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher and OBIEE reporting artifacts, creation of a metadata repository across Physical, Business Model and Presentation layers, and configuration of interactive dashboards with drill down, filters and map viewer integration. Workstreams covered Financial Analytics and HR Analytics reporting, conversion of OBIEE 11g reports to OBIEE 12c, and a transformation project to move selected reporting to Tableau, including full repository and web catalog merges.
Architecturally the solution was installed and configured on Windows Server 2012 R2 and Red Hat 7.x platforms, using OBIEE 12c and WebLogic Server 11gR1 PS3, with Oracle BI Apps and Oracle Database 11g in the data tier. ETL and data movement were executed through Oracle Data Integrator 12.2.1 and included data extracts from E Business Suite R12, staging area to data mart loads, PL SQL stored procedures, materialized views and server side PL SQL scripts for data manipulation and validation.
Governance and security were enforced through object level security in the OBIEE RPD and web catalog, and data level security implemented with session variables tied to a custom database table for ledger, division, access set and operating unit scoping. Operational controls included an automatic database schema switching table and separate connection pools in the RPD to isolate ETL load windows, established best practices for report development, offshore coordination for repository changes, and comprehensive data validation against source systems.

Driscolls | Consumer Packaged Goods | 3500 | $5.0B | United States | Oracle | Oracle BI Publisher | Analytics and BI | 2023 | n/a |
In 2023, Driscolls deployed Oracle BI Publisher as a core reporting engine within its Analytics and BI environment to support Oracle Cloud Fusion data solutions. Oracle BI Publisher is used to author templates, build data models, and produce standardized reports and compliance outputs tied to Fusion ERP data extraction workflows.
The implementation scope centers on enterprise reporting for Financial, Supply Chain Management, and Procurement business functions, with a focus on KPIs, dashboards, and scheduled compliance reports. Functional capabilities implemented include BI Publisher data models and templates, OTBI reporting, dashboard development, query generation using advanced SQL and PL SQL where applicable, and ongoing KPI and metric maintenance to inform senior business stakeholders.
Integrations documented in the program include direct extraction from Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP using OTBI and BI Publisher, orchestration with Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle fusion analytics warehouse, and data staging on Oracle Autonomous Database and Autonomous warehouse platforms. The technical stack also references Oracle Data Integrator for data movement and AWS data warehouse tools such as DMS, Lambda, Glue, and Redshifts for downstream processing and analytics pipelines, while delivery and issue tracking leverage JIRA in an onshore and offshore delivery model.
Governance and operational workflows emphasize collaboration between functional leaders, IT, and project teams to define roles and privileges for data access, detailed functional specifications for progressive build cycles, and documented data distribution schedules. The program includes technical delivery management, testing and deployment coordination, ticket triage with root cause analysis for incidents, and training and mentoring to build BI Publisher proficiency among data developers and business users.

Dublin Airport | Transportation | 2500 | $300M | Ireland | Oracle | Oracle BI Publisher | Analytics and BI | 2018 | RPCuk |
In 2018, Dublin Airport implemented Oracle BI Publisher as the reporting layer within a broader integrated Oracle Primavera programme controls deployment, classified in Analytics and BI. The implementation supported a major expansion programme across Dublin Airport and Cork Airport and centered on standardized reporting and dashboard delivery. The project connected programme controls outputs to corporate project oversight and regulatory reporting.
RPCuk configured Oracle BI Publisher to produce templated reports and dashboards that consolidated Cost Management, Earned Value Management, Fund Management and Contract Management data. Unifier configuration and report writing were used to automate extraction from Oracle Primavera Unifier and Oracle Primavera P6 into BI Publisher templates. The deployment emphasized configurable report libraries, automated scheduling and consolidated project intelligence for programme controls.
Technical integration used Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Unifier and Oracle Primavera Gateway to feed transactional schedule, cost and contract records into Oracle BI Publisher. This integration created a single reporting fabric for project teams, finance, commercial contract managers and regulatory stakeholders engaged in the expansion. Operational coverage included programme controls across construction and project delivery functions at both airport sites.
RPCuk led integration, design workshops and Unifier configuration as the system integrator, aligning report governance and configuration standards across the programme. Introducing Unifier represented a significant business process shift at Dublin Airport and the Oracle BI Publisher implementation provided the necessary dashboards and reporting to enable the project team to maintain data control and meet regulatory requirements. The solution was positioned as an enterprise reporting capability within the Oracle Primavera toolset.
